Description
Located on the NH-MA boundary, 8 mi N of Fitchburg; Middlesex County (US-T121).
History
Settled about 1676, incorporated as a town in 1767. Probably named in honor of Francis, tenth Earl of Huntington (1728-1789), whose family home was in Ashby, England (MA-T1/p6).
