Description
Located 15 mi NE of Springfield; Hampshire County (US-T121).
History
Settled 1731, incorporated as a town in 1761. Named in honor of Jonathan Belcher, governor of MA, 1730-1740. Originally written as Belchers Town before 1761, it was the plantation called Cold Spring (MA-T1)
