Description
Located in Berkshire Hills, 15 mi NW of Springfield, Hampden County (US-T121).
History
Settled before 1767, incorporated as a town in 1775. Named in honor of General Richard Montgomery, who was killed at Quebec, 1775 (MA-T1/p32).
