Description
Located on the CT-MA boundary, 5 mi S of Springfield; Hampden County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1644, incorporated as a town in 1783. So named because of its natural setting, a beautiful meadow extending along the Connecticut River (MA-T1/p27).
