Heads at the junction of Bear Meadow and Bluefield Brooks, flows W for 52 miles to the Connecticut River 1 mi NNW of Millers Falls; Towns of Montague, Irving, Wendell, Orange, Athol, Phillipston, Royalston, Winchendon and Ashburnam; incomplete record.

Reportedly named for a man named Miller who drowned in the river (MA-T50/p553).
