Located in Berkshire Hills, on VT-MA boundary, 17 mi NW of Greenfield, Franklin County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1762, incorporated as a town in 1785. The origin of the name is uncertain. It was formed from the common lands called Myrifield and lands adjoining (MA-T1/p40).
