Description
Located in Berkshire Hills on VT-MA boundary 13 mi NW of Greenfield; Franklin County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1765, incorporated as a town in 1785. Named for Major General William Heath (1737-1814), last surviving general of the Revolution, who assisted the town in obtaining its charter (MA-T/p23).
