Description
Located in Berkshire Hills, 8 mi SW of Greenfield; Franklin County (US-T121).
History
Settled 1762, incorporated as a town in 1775. Named for General Henry S Conway (1721-1795), member of the British Ministry and government leader in the House of Commons at the repeal of the Stamp Act (MA-T1/p15).
