Description
Located in Berkshire Hills, on the VT-MA boundary, 8 mi NW of Greenfield; Franklin County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1735, incorporated as a town, 1761. Probably named for Lord Coleraine, in Ireland, although some early settlers may have come from the Town of that name near Londonderry, Irland (MA-T1/p14).
