Located in Berkshire Hill, 11 mi W of Greenfield; Franklin County (US-T121).
History
Settled 1779, incorporated as a town in 1779. Name taken from a deer park of and early pioneer, Squire Samuel Taylor. Before 1779 it was the plantation called No-town (MA-T1/p11).
