Description
Located 14 mi NW of Gloucester (US-T121).
History
Settled 1635, incorporated as a town in 1635. Named in honor of the Reverend Thomas Parker who came from Newbury, England, which was also the home of other early settlers. Before incorporation it was known as the plantation called Wessacucon (MA-T1/p33).
