Description
Located 19 mi NE of Lowell; Essex County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1635, incorporated as the Town of Parsons, 1819. Named Parsons after a local family. Renamed West Newbury, in 1820, because it had orginallly been the Western part of Newbury (MA-T1/p50).
