At the NE end of Normans Woe Cove on W shore of Gloucester Harbor 1.5 mi NE of Magnolia; City of Gloucester.
History
Named for the bivalve mollusk (genus Mytilus); originally spelled "Muscle" according to an 1831 map, but the present spelling has been in use since about 1884 (US-T121).
