On Martha's Vineyard, extends E into N end of Katama Bay 1.3 mi S of Edgartown; Town of Edgartown.
History
Reportedly the name originated years ago when at lowtide farmers drove their cattle across the water at this point to pasture on Chappaquiddick Island (Board on Geographic Names (BGN) files); name applied to present Snows Point on earlier map (Walling 1871).
