Located 4 km (2.5 mi) SE of Otis; Towns of Otis and Tolland.
History
Otis Reservoir, formed by damming Fall River in 1865, flooded the basins of three natural ponds. Rand Pond, the largest, was located in what is now the north part of the reservoir; Messenger Pond in the south part and Southeast Bay; and Cotton Pond was probably located in Southwest Bay.
