Description
Located on Cape Cod, 15 mi W of Barnstable (US-T121).
History
Settled about 1640, incorporated in 1884. Probably named for the Honorable Jonathan Bourne (1811-1889), member of the Governors Council of MA, but possibly named for Richard Bourne (d.1682), Cape Cod Missionary (MA-T1/p10).
