Description
Located on Cape Cod, 25 mi NE of Barnstable, Barnstable County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1700, incorporated in 1709. Probably named for the coastal Town of Truro, Cornwall County, England, from which some of the early settlers came. Before 1709, it was common land called 'Pawmett.' (MA-T1)
