Located on Cape Cod, 18 mi NE of Barnstable; Barnstable County (US-T121).
History
Named after the French Duke of Orleans, Louis Philippe, who visited the United States in 1797 and became King of France in 1830. Settled in 1693 and incorporated in 1797 (MA-T1).
