Description
Located on Cape Cod, 6 mi E of Barnstable (US-T121).
History
Named in memory of the Reverend Josiah Dennis, pastor of the towns first meeting house from 1725 to 1763. Settled in 1639 and incorporated June 19, 1793. Originally part of Yarmouth (MA-T1/p93).
