Description
Extends ESE from Buzzards Bay to Vineyard Sound between Cape Cod and the Elizabeth Islands 3.4 mi SW of Falmouth; Towns of Falmouth and Gosnold.
History
The earliest record of this name is in the Proprietor's records of Falmouth in an entry for the laying out of the lands in Woods Hole Neck' dated March 26, 1691 (US-T121).
