Description
Flows south to Bear Creek which flows to the Patapsco River, about 13 km (8 mi) southeast of downtown Baltimore and within the neighborhood of Inverness.
History
A definitive name origin is unknown but it is believed the word "chink" is derived from the native term "chinqua" and translates to "large" or "great". (US-T121)
