Description
Located along the Patapsco River at the southern end of Patapsco River Neck, 14.5 km (9 mi) southeast of downtown Baltimore.
History
Named for Thomas Sparrow who was given a land grant by Lord Baltimore in 1652. Now the area is comprised mostly of a steel processing plant. (MD-T12/p319)
