Description
Located between Bay Side Beach, Spit Point, and Bodkin Neck where it enters the Chesapeake Bay, 26 km (16 mi) southeast of downtown Baltimore.
History
The word "bodkin" is French for "needle-like" or "narrow". This feature was likely named for nearby Bodkin Neck which appears to be descriptively named. (US-T121)
