Description
Located along Pelton Brook, 4.3 km (2.7 mi) west of the community of Anson, 8 km (5 mi) southwest of the confluence of the Carrabassett River and the Kennebec River.
History
Named for Jabez Nevens, who settled in the Town of Anson in the mid-nineteenth century.
