Located on the NW end of the northernmost island of the Chandeleur Islands, 24 mi S of Biloxi Mississippi
History
Named for Doctor Archibald Clinton Hewes(1905-1978) physician and former Chief of Staff at Gulfport Memorial Hospital who made periodic fishing trips to the waters near the north end of the Chandeleur Islands.
