Description
Located in northern Kentucky, 32 km (20 mi) north of Lexington; County Seat: Georgetown.
History
Established in 1792, named for General Charles Scott (1739-1813), who served in the Revolutionary War and as Kentucky's fourth Governor from 1808 to 1812. (KY-T1/p266)
