Description
Located in south central Kentucky, 97 km (60 mi) south of Lexington; County Seat: Somerset.
History
Established in 1798, named for Count Casimir Pulaski (1748-1779), a Polish patriot who died in battle fighting for American sovereignty in the Battle of Savannah. (KY-T1/p245)
