Located in northern Kentucky along a small portion of the Ohio River and the boundary with Ohio; County Seat: Falmouth.
History
Established in 1798, named for Edmund Pendleton (1721-1803), a Virginia statesman and politician who was involved with the formation of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. (KY-T1/p229)
