Description
Located in north central Kentucky, along the Ohio River and the boundary with Indiana, just northeast of Louisville; County Seat: La Grange.
History
Established in 1823, named for Colonel William Oldham, Revolutionary War officer who died in the Battle of St Clair's Defeat in 1791. (KY-T1/p219)
