Description
Located in southwestern Kentucky, along the boundary with Tennessee, about 48 km (30 mi) east of Hopkinsville; County Seat: Russellville.
History
Established in 1792, named for General Benjamin Logan (1743-1802), who assisted in bringing about Kentucky Statehood. Later helped draft the State's 1st Constitution. (KY-T1/p177)
