Description
Located in southwestern Kentucky, along the Ohio River and the boundary with Illinois, about 32 km (20 mi) northeast of Paducah; County Seat: Smithland.
History
Established in 1798, named for Robert R Livingston (1746-1813), a member of the Continental Congress from 1775 to 1783. (KY-T1/p176)
