Description
Located in north central Kentucky, 64 km (40 mi) northwest of Lexington; County Seat: New Castle.
History
Established in 1798, named for Patrick Henry (1736-1799), a politician and patriot who served in the Continental Congress from 1774 to 1776 and later as a two term Governor of Virginia. (KY-T1/p138)
