Located in west-central Kentucky, about 32 km (20 mi) northeast of Bowling Green; County Seat: Brownsville.
History
Established in 1825, named for Captain John Edmonson (1764-1813) who was killed in the Battle of River Basin on 22 January 1813. (KY-T1/p89)
