Description
Located in southwestern Kentucky along the boundary with Tennessee, abou 48 km (30 mi) southwest of Hopkinsville; Coutny Seat: Murray.
History
Established in 1822, named for Colonel Richard Calloway (died 1780), who established teh Boonsborough settlement with Daniel Boone. (KY-T1/p46)
