Located in Sainte Marie Township, 8.4 km (5.2 mi) SE of Sainte Marie, 2.1 km (1.3 mi) NW of the junction of the Dead River with the Embarras River.
History
Named in honor of Dr. Jacob Raef (d. 1881), town clerk and lumber mill owner.
