History
Renamed to Cherry Hill Woods Sloughs Sept. 8, 2022 as a result of Secretary's Order 3404. The name Shïshko Mbishke means “muskrat swamp” in the Boodewaadamiimowin (Potawatomi) dialect of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation; refers to a local mammal significant in the Anishinaabe creation story.
