Description
Located 1.6 km (1 mi) NW of the community of Blue Island, 8 km (5 mi) W of Lake Calumet.
History
A subdivision of Chicago, established in the early 1940's (incorporated in 1947) by J. E. Merrion, for whom the community was named.
