Near the head fo the South Fork of the Salmon River and about 21 mi E of Cascade. Located in sec 32,T14N,R7E, Boise Meridian.
History
Named for William B. (Ben) Rice, for almost 40 years as a member of the U.S. Forest Service (USFS)working in the ID-UT area.
