Description
Located in St. Joe National Forest, heads 0.5 km (0.3 mi) east-northeast of Nelson Peak, flows north then northwest to enter the Saint Joe River 5.6 km (3.5 mi) north-northeast of Avery.
History
Named for Telichpah, a woman of the St. Joe clan of the Coeur d’Alene, who lived near present-day Saint Maries and who was known to be particularly knowledgeable of the surrounding high country.
