The name is a combination of the names South Rasmussen Drainage and West Fork Sheep Creek, both of which were used by mining companies; Secs. 30&31, T6S, R44E and Sec. 25, T6S, R43E, Boise Meridian
History
2 mi. long; in Caribou National Forest, heads on the NE slope of Rasmussen Ridge, 8 mi. E of Blackfoot Reservoir, flows SE then E to enter Sheep Creek.
