Description
In the SW extremity of the county, 4.5 mi NE of Aberdeen on the NW shore of American Falls Reservoir. An agricultural community settled in 1910 by Mormons.

Named by Thomas L. Jones, one of the settlers, for the sterling qualities of the soil.
