Description
Located in the Boise River Wildlife Management Area, heads 1.7 km (1.1 mi) southwest of Lucky Peak; flows southwest to enter Penitentiary Canal in the Boise Valley, 8 km (5 mi) northeast of the center of Boise.
History
Named for the gatherings held by the Native Americans of the area and the fact that the stream flows only in the spring.
