Three rocks, located in the Pacific Ocean off the W coast of Lanai, 7.2 km (4.5 mi) W of Lanai City.
History
Name reportedly means "three stones". There origninally were 5 sea stacks, thus the 1956 Board on Geographic Names (BGN) Decision for Five Needles, however after years of erosion only three remain.
