Located in central Georgia, 77 km (48 mi) southeast of Macon; County Seat: Eastman.
History
Established 26 October 1870, named for William E Dodge (1805-1883), a businessman who favored prohibition. He owned much of the land that comprised Dodge County. (GA-T21/p64)
