Description
Located 4 km (2.5 mi) west-northwest of the community of Greenhead, 21 km (13 mi) southwest of Chipley.
History
Named in association with the name of a nearby road. A proposal to change the original name of Negro Lake to Dove Lake was submitted in July 2005; the USBGN rejected this proposal and approved the proposal to name the feature Chain Lake.
