Description
Heads in an unnamed lake, flows west then south to enter the Gulf of Mexico, 3.2 km (2 mi) south-southeast of Santa Rosa Beach, and 1.1 km (0.7 mi) west of Draper Lake.
History
Named for John M Irwin, the General Land Office cadastral engineer who in 1847 conducted the original survey of the township in which the stream is located.
