Located in Fishers Island Sound, 0.8 km (0.5 mi) E of Mason Island and 2.4 km (1.5 mi) S of Mystic.
History
A proposal to change the name Dodges Island to Bayberry Island was submitted 12/97. In 9/99 the proposal was rejected by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (USBGN).
