History
Named for Dr. Howard A. “Doc” Pearson (1929-2016), a pediatrician and medical director who specialized in hematology/oncology. He served as president of the American Academy of Pediatrics (1992-93) and co-founded the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp at the lake, where children with serious illnesses could experience joy and freedom.
