Description
Heads 0.6 km (0.4 mi) east of the south end of Church Hill, flows south-southeast to join Nonnewaug River, 2.4 km (1.5 mi) north-northeast of North Woodbury.
History
Named for Benjamin Galpin (1654-1731) and his wife Rebecca, who settled in Woodbury around 1680.
