Description
Extends from 0.6 km (0.4 mi) south-southest of Shrine Mountain south and southeast to the saddle between the head of Wearyman Gulch and the head of Wilder Gulch; also located in White River National Forest.
History
Named for H Peter Wingle (1933-1997), longtime U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service employee, authority on ski-area development, and outdoorsman.
